Sonning Developments Limited was formed in 1996 to provide specialist intermediary services for landowners wishing to option areas of land to reputable national house builders for future residential and commercial development. We continue to be very active in this sector
The business rapidly expanded into brownfield regeneration by assisting garage owners and other businesses redevelop their sites for residential use. We also assist farmers in the regeneration of farm buildings and barns for residential or commercial developments.
More recently Sonning has expanded its activities by acting as the intermediary for an investor team which provides mezzanine finance and 2nd Charge finance to smaller developers.
We also have extensive contacts in City Banks and Institutions who assist with the funding of large and small development projects in the UK.
Responding to government guidelines, Sonning is now providing advice and support to Local Authorities on sustainable low emission housing projects and is initiating an inward investment programme to encourage international corporations to relocate to major development areas in the UK.
